Can I access T Gel here in Melbourne (Australia)? Is anyone else using it instead of injections?

I will be accessing hormones soon and I am reluctant to start with injections. I am aware that there is also T Gel and so I want to know if anyoen else is using this and if it is in fact accessible in Melbourne?

I don't take T gel myself but I have a friend who does. He's in Melbs. So you can definitely get the gel from Melbs

My partner looked into it and apparently the commercial T gels available here are very low dose, so quite inconvenient to use.

It might be worth contacting a compounding pharmacy to see if they can produce gels of higher dosage, though the cost is also likely to be higher.

Only one person I know has used the gel and got slow changes for several months...then seemed to have no changes. Unfortunately we're stuck with injections for the best effect

Not sure I agree that using (Testo) Gel is a negative for producing changes or best effect. I have been using Gel for 14 months and while it may be a slighty slower process it certainly has given the desired effect. Some advantages of the Gel, it gives a constant steady flow of testosterone on a daily basis more in conjunction with the natural flow of your body as you don't get spikes, peaks and troughs as you would with injection. I am extremely happy with my changes, it has been and continues to be a journey at a nice steady pace. I was passing fully after 8 months, was covered in hair on arms, legs and back at 6 months, started shaving a stubbled goatie at 12 months and the overall facial hair while admittedly is the slowest aspect of my hair growth at 14 months is none the less showing greater sign of peach fuzz movement now. As an older FTM for me using the Gel was a much more controlled option, gentle introduction to the hormone being introduced to the body, as well it was about the physical transitioning journey itself allowing the morphing process to be progressive without the wham bam of higher dose Testosterone purely for quick results. Testosterone whether via Gel or injection is a very personal choice, so to is the way the body responds to which medium you use. Everyone is uniquely different in how thier body will respond. The Gel does have its place, does get results, and is a personal alternative option for several reason over injection. You have to go with what feels right for you.
